One Final Time

I write to you one final time as our “flight back to the 90’s” on Round Trip has now forever landed.

It was March 27th, 2011 (almost eleven years ago) when the show debuted on WZPL in Indianapolis playing “nothin’ but 90’s hits” each weekend and interviewing the biggest 90’s stars.

Ever since, Round Trip spread its wings and grew exponentially, being heard nationwide on great radio stations by countless wonderful listeners.

It has been my biggest and most favorite career accomplishment being your host as I shared my passion and love for 90’s music. While the show ends, the website will continue, as there are hundreds upon hundreds of hours of terrific artist interviews in our library. Please bookmark this site and enjoy them as time allows.

I wish to thank my producer and the mastermind of the show – Dan Holiday – for all of his tireless work and belief in me. I will never forget all that you did for me, Dan.

To JR Ammons at WZPL in Indianapolis – thank you for believing in us and seeing the vision so that we could launch this project.

To ALL of the great Program Directors who aired this show on their radio stations – THANK YOU – but in particular, to Ponch, Steve Serrano, JJ Holiday, April Goodhart and the late (wonderful) Jennifer Foxx.

To every artist we interviewed for this show – your time and stories meant more than you know. THANK YOU.

Finally, to each and every person who consumed this show – on highways, interstates, city roads, bedrooms, dorm rooms, restaurants, tanning salons, basements, garages and through all sorts of emotions – happiness, nostalgia, sorrow, heartache… THANK. YOU.

All great things come to an end but the memories of this show will live on with me forever and hopefully, a small piece of us was left behind with you.

It has been my most humbling experience spending time with you.

For one final time – take care, and keep livin’ the 90’s dream – ALWAYS.

Signing Off,

-Dave O
