Hi-Five burst upon the R&B scene in the spring of 1991 with the release of “I Like The Way (The Kissing Game).” By late 1992, the group had achieved three Top 10 singles and quickly became known as a core sound of 1990’s R&B. Dave O recently caught up with Marcus Sanders of Hi-Five, who talked about the life of lead singer Tony Thompson, who was tragically killed too soon, his favorite memories of Hi-Five and a possible Hi-Five book release, among other things.
