Sophie B. Hawkins Interview

One of the most interesting women in pop music, Sophie B Hawkins first hit the top ten in 1992 with the song “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover,” off of her album Tongues And Tails, which got her nominated for a Grammy. Sophie followed up that radio success by releasing the song “As I Lay Me Down” and continues to make music today, with a new album out soon. Dave O recently SKYPED with Sophie to talk about the past, but also the present, which includes the new album, Sophie’s artwork and writing a musical for Kristen Chenowith.
