Marc Anthony, Wilson Phillips & More

marcaWe begin this edition of “Back In The Day Buzz” by wishing you a belated Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you were able to spend it with your family and were blessed enough to have plenty of food on the table and the ability to create some new memories! I spent it with my Dad and couldn’t help but reflect on the beauty of family memories – the sentimental side in me, I suppose…

Speaking of memories and Thanksgiving, I took a trip down “memory lane” with Wilson Phillips when I saw a TV commercial during a football game for Progressive Insurance featuring Carnie Wilson! It’s pretty funny, as she and “Flo” quote “Hold On” back and forth. I’m attaching the link below so you can check it out!

Next, a pretty cool update on Marc Anthony, who is getting into the Sports Agent business!! Anthony’s first client will be MLB superstar pitcher Aroldis Chapman of the Cincinnati Reds. I can’t help but think of one of the best movies of the 90’s each time I hear about a sports agent – Jerry Maguire, of course. Hopefully Marc will be able to “Show Aroldis the money!!!”

Finally, some “shade” was recently thrown at Mariah Carey by Huffington Post, which says that her movie “A Christmas Melody” might be “one of the worst of the year.” I love MC so I refuse to believe it won’t be pure gold but either way, can’t wait to see it soon. And of course, start hearing “All I Want For Christmas Is You” more often!

That’s it for now – until next time, take care, and keep livin’ the 90’s dream!!
