I certainly hope your April was great as we get to the May edition of “Back In The Day Buzz!”
Let’s begin by talking more about the Britney Spears/Iggy Azalea single that we first wrote about two months back. It’s called “Pretty Girls” and was leaked last Saturday. Here is a link to check out the catchy tune.
By the way, Brit Brit and Iggy will be performing the song at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17th (a week from this weekend!).
Next, I’m sure you are as blown away as I am by the fact that Milli Vanilli singer Fab Morvan is making a comeback…. With one of the dudes who actually sang the songs for him back in the day (John Davis).
That’s right, Morvan and Davis are BOTH going to be signing vocals on the new album, more than 25 years after it was discovered Morvan and his Milli Vanilla partner Rob Pilatus were lip synching. Tragically, Pilatus was found dead of a suspected drug overdose back in 1998. It will be interesting to see how this album turns out and I must say that I’m pretty intrigued to find out!!
Switching gears to Madonna… well… let’s just say “WOW!!!”
Madge recently said she “regrets deeply” kissing Drake during last month’s Coachella Music Festival after he “begged for it.” There has been a bit of a riff between the two ever since, which is too bad because they are two of my favorite people in pop culture. It makes you wonder sometimes how much of this stuff is “set up” to sell records and how much of it is actually true, but whatever.
Last, speaking of a lady being a seducer, how about some props to Ann Wilson of Heart, who married Dean Wetter last week!
You might say, “How does that make her a seducer, Dave O?”
Well, she says that back in the early 80’s, she met Wetter, had some drinks with him and unsuccessfully attempted to seduce him, “since he’s a gentleman.”
I’m thinking that’s no longer an issue and am happy for the couple. =)
