I don’t know about you, but as I opened up Christmas gifts a couple of weeks back and looked at the electronics ads, I couldn’t help but reminisce about the old days, the 1990’s, when we thought technology was good but in reality… it was awful!!! Haha.
Remember when a computer would cost $1,500, monitor sold separately???
How about dial up Internet with 2400 Baud modems? Hahahah that is so funny to think back about. It would take like a minute for a page with a photo to load and if someone picked up the phone, you were kicked off!!!
Finally, remember the original era of the Walkman??? I can still remember getting a good one in 1994 and spending that whole day listening to my Sophie B. Hawkins album “Tongues and Tails” and the song “Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover” over and over again. Talk about primo sound, I must have thought!
Who would have ever thunk that twenty years later, we would have the ULTIMATE walkman… The Sony Walkman ZX2 for…………… $1,200!!!
That’s right, coming soon, a Walkman for $1,200 – but its SLICK AS A WHISTLE!!!
Thousands and thousands and thousands of songs can be held… Wifi ready with bluetooth… multiple input devices… on and on and on. Running Android software that was first introduced in 2012. This thing looks like the Taj Mahal.
