Well last time around, I asked you for your opinion on the Top 5 Television Shows From The 90’s and boy, oh boy, did you come up big in delivering this list.
To refresh, we encouraged you to email me at daveo@roundtripwithdaveo.com and in the next edition of your “Buzz” we would unveil the results. Truly scientific and 100% accurate, of course. =)
So without further adieu, let’s check out the results.
TOP 5 TELEVISION SHOWS FROM THE 90’S
(BASED ON 76 E-MAILS)
NEAR MISSES THAT RECEIVED AT LEAST 10 VOTES EACH:
Beverly Hills 90210, Saved By The Bell, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, ER, Third Rock From The Sun, Home Improvement & The Wonder Years
AND FINALLY, THE TOP 5
5. Seinfield – I was surprised this one wasn’t higher – only 39 of the 76 entrants suggested this genius show.
4. Full House – How could you not love this integral part of “TGIF,” with life lessons and perhaps the best theme song of any 90’s show? On 52 of 76 entries.
3. The Simpsons – Still going strong to this day, the Matt Groening show was on 53 of the 76 notes.
2. The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air – I thought coming in that this one would have been #1, with Friends #2. But not quite – 61 of 76.
1. Friends – Even though this timeless classic (which made the song “I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts famous) was on TV well into the 2000’s, it was still associated with the 90’s, as 67 of 76 e-mails included it!
So there you have it – your opinion voiced!
Thanks for all of the e-mails and we’ll have to do this again soon – maybe next time, Best 90’s Movie?
Until then, take care, and keep livin’ the 90’s dream!!!
