Welcome to our first ever “rapid fire” edition of Back In The Day Buzz, as there are tons of “snippets” of quick information to bring to you.
So without wasting any time, let’s dig right in!
-The rumor mill is HOT that Jennifer Lopez is currently secretly dating a man named Maksim Chmerkovskiy. You may say, “who?” Well, Maksim is (besides a great magazine #ZING!) a professional ballroom dancer from the Ukraine. A big thanks to the gossip site TMZ for being first on this “story.” (loosely calling this news)
-Next, some mind blowing info. about Michael Jackson’s children (Prince, Paris and Blanket). Because of MJ’s assets continuing to grow as the years pass, all three children are given “yearly allowances” of $8 million each. That’s right, E-I-G-H-T M-I-L-L-I-O-N D-O-L-L-A-R-S a year, per kid!!! All three of MJ’s offspring are under 18, too. Cripes, I think my allowances as a kid added up to about $300 a year! Haha.

-Staying with the rapid fire, how about the fact that Smash Mouth has now been together for TWENTY YEARS NOW?!??! Are we getting old, or what? I still remember how my life changed when I heard “Walkin’ On The Sun” back in late ’97. That was seventeen years ago, or three years into the band’s career. Wow… Anyway, to celebrate the anniversary, they are currently out touring as we speak.
-A little other random “news” (but more ironic) about our good friend Topanga from Boy Meets World, aka Danielle Fishel. Seems she was at Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ no-hitter last week to make an appearance on field prior to the game. Only problem was… she completely missed a part of baseball history by leaving early. She missed a NO HITTER!!! It’s one of my dreams in life to attend one in person. To her defense, Fishel left by the 3rd inning, so how could she have known?!?
-Finally, I want to end the rapid fire’ness by ofering a REMINDER that Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees and the E! Television Network’s “Men Of The Strip” joins us this weekend for a two hour ALL 90’S BOY BANDS episode of Round Trip! We will also hear from Delious from All-4-One, Brian from the Backstreet Boys and Bryan from Color Me Badd during the show. Make sure you check this show out – it will blow your mind!
