We begin this week with AWE-SOME NEWS for all 90’s boy band fans! And it’s two-folded, too!
First of all, hopefully you’ve been able to check out E! Television for Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees’ new show, “Men of the Strip!” As a straight 33 year old man, I still found it fascinating, as it’s an in-depth look at the world of male entertainment and doing so in Las Vegas. Women will DEFINITELY find it worth watching!! Haha.
After you watch the show, you will find it quite courageous of Jeff to have undertaken such a challenge, but it’s quite the entertainment and we’re excited to see what happens in the future with “Men of the Strip!” Definitely check out E!, as they’ll be running the show nonstop over the next month.
Second of all, in honor of the TV show, Jeff will be co-hosting, in its entirety, a two hour episode with NOTHING BUT 90’S BOY BANDS right here on Round Trip!!! Not only will Jeff and I banter back and forth for two hours with tons of boy band music, but the show will also be chalk full of guests like Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys, Delious Kennedy of All-4-One and Bryan Abrams of Color Me Badd. The episode will air in three weeks!
One other cool note to report this week – Melissa Etheridge “tied the knot” with her longtime girlfriend Linda Wallem. Wallem is quite the big shot producer in Hollywood, from having her hand in shows like “Nurse Jackie” and “That 70’s Show.” We are happy that thanks to California’s Prop 8 being done away with, couples like Melissa and Linda can now legally wed!
That’s about all the good news I can handle for one week – I’m trying to stay depressed as a diehard baseball fan of the Kansas City Royals, who are having a tough year, but this 90’s stuff is cheering me up. Gotta go back to moping around so I get sympathy from my friends. 😉
