We might be the only ones, but we thought that Michael Jackson’s music in the ’90’s was just as good as his releases in the ’80’s.
After all, how can you not like songs such as “Black Or White,” “Remember The Time,” “In The Closet,” “Jam,” “You Are Not Alone,” “Heal The World,” “Earth Song” and (of course) from Free Willy, “Will You Be There.”
Why do we randomly bring up the awesomeness of Michael Jackson?
Because he HAS A NEW ALBUM COMING OUT!!! It’s called “Xscape” (not to be confused with the 90’s all-female rad R&B group Xscape) and pre-orders have already begun for its May 13th release date!!
You may ask, how in the world does Michael Jackson have a new album coming out after passing away in 2009? Well, L.A. Reid was given permission to “go through Jackson’s archives” and found eight unreleased tracks that could be put out as songs. The vocals of Jackson are used; just with new mixes produced by Timbaland and Reid. The album cover art has been released and we look forward to seeing how this project turns out. Since I’m a gambler, I’m willing to bet at least one song off of this album will hit #1 on the pop charts this summer, especially with Reid and Timbaland being involved in the process!
Next, some exciting news that Christina Aguilera finally confirmed – that she and 25 year old fiance Matt Rutler are expecting!! This has been rumored for quite awhile, and we’ve as such mentioned this before, but it’s exciting to hear Christina finally confirm it, which she did during a concert earlier this week.
If you remember, Christina has a son (six year old Max) with her former husband, big time record honcho Jordan Bratman. We are glad that she seems to be doing well and that Max will soon have a little sister!
