This edition of “Back In The Day Buzz” begins with claims against Alanis Morissette that I find quite hard to believe.
If you missed it, Alanis is being sued for approximately $30,000 by a former nanny who alleges that the “Ironic” star owes her lots of back pay for overtime, touring, working seven days in a row, etc.
The lady is named Bianca Cambeiro and says she was paid $25 an hour to take care of Alanis’ son, Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway. Shifts were almost always 12 hours in a row, she says, with lunch breaks often denied and touring going on seven days in a row without a break.
Seems a little fishy to me that somebody would wait all this time to file a lawsuit, not to mention that Alanis is known as one of the biggest humanitarians in the music industry. I’m sure this will get figured out soon enough, but I want to emphasize this is all ALLEGED.
P.S. What I consider more newsworthy than this is what Alanis told “The Today Show” recently – that she had her son AT HOME, without hardly any medicine. Uhhhhhhhhhh……….. ??????!!!???????????
Next, Mandy Moore recently told People that she was considering cutting her signature (and beautiful) hair or even……… going Britney and (gasp) shave it off?!??!
“I’ve always wanted to cut my hair, like, super, super short. I did once. I’ve always thought about shaving my head too. That’s always intrigued me.”
