Wilson Phillips’ Health & More

wilss

Some scary news this week for one third of Wilson Phillips, as Carnie Wilson has announced that she is currently battling “Bells palsy” in her left cheek.

If you’re not familiar with the disease, it essentially has the capability of paralyzing your face. Further, numbness is often prevalent, as well as loss of control of facial muscles. The disease is typically caused by a virus that inflames different parts of the face. However, the bright side is that most of the time, Bells palsy is temporary.

That was definitely the case in the past, as this isn’t the first time that Carnie has battled Bell’s palsy, either. In fact, fourteen years ago, she had the same condition on the right side of her face, winning that battle.

And, the real good news about this time around?

Wilson tweeted out as recently as Tuesday the following: “A beautiful day to you all. My smile is 70% back!! Except when kids make me belly laugh! Lol they keep me laughing!! Luv to you all.”

Here’s wishing the best for Carnie, who has always been very blunt and honest about both her body and health since she feels she can truly help someone else by being forthcoming.

Speaking of Wilson Phillips, while we’re on the topic, let’s give you a quick update.

A few months back, the ladies released a “Live From Infinity Hall” DVD, complete with some awesome covers (including a number from the Beach Boys!!!!!) and their own songs, too, like “Hold On.”

It always makes me smile to think of Wilson Phillips and brings back tremendous memories whenever I hear their music. Isn’t it amazing how music can do that?

Until next time, take care, and keep livin’ the 90’s dream!!!
