D. Child, JT & More

Since we last spoke a week ago, some INSANELY EXCITING NEWS for diehard fans of the 1990’s has been revealed, as two of the decades biggest superstars have announced they’re coming back with new music!

Let’s start with Beyonce and Destiny’s Child, who have let it be known that they are getting back together for the first time since 2005! This came as a bit of a surprise, since I was told by Beyonce one time that the group getting back together was a “slim and none chance.”

Apparently a new album will be released in about ten days, on January 29th, and will be called “Love Songs.” The album will include one brand new track (“Nuclear”) and a whole bunch of (yeah, you guessed it) love songs that Destiny’s Child did between 1997 and 2004.

At publish time, there has been no official word of a tour, but the rumor mill says that the rest of Destiny’s Child will join Beyonce on stage during the Super Bowl to perform the new track.

How about that?!??! Destiny’s Child – back together!

But wait, there’s more…

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, late on Sunday night, announced that HE was returning, too!

The first song has already been released and features Jay-Z – it’s called “Suit & Tie.”

Also, it looks as if by the end of the summer, a full album will be out called the “20/20 Experience.” The collection of songs will be his first since 2006!

Now, if we could just get Justin to re-kindle ‘N Sync… baby steps, right?

Last, we have two news items on Britney Spears.

First, we were excited to hear that she would be leaving The X Factor last week in order to “focus more on music.” Not only does that mean more and more great tracks from Brit, but also another tour!!! If you haven’t seen Britney, it’s a must attend concert because it’s almost like a production.

Second, we were bummed to hear that Britney and fiancé Jason Trawick are no more. This was fairly obvious when she announced a few days prior that she was changing agencies, and he would no longer be managing her career. But still, always sad when it becomes official, and we hope that one day, Britney does find “true love.” (if it exists, right?)

Until next time, we hope you have a great week. Take Care, and keep livin’ the 90’s Dream!
