What an exciting time to be a Backstreet Boys fan, as they enter their 20th anniversary as a group!
First of all, Kevin Richardson rejoined the group last year after exiting in 2006 to focus on a solo career.
Second of all, the boys are currently working on a new album, which will come out in mid-2013 and be the first album with all five members featured since 2006 (when Richardson left!)
Finally, and most exciting to me, you will soon be allowed to be graced with the Backstreet Boys presence next time you are on Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, California.
That’s right, BSB will get its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next spring. If you’ve never visited Hollywood, by the way, it’s a “must go”, though don’t spend more than a day or so – you’ll feel way too ordinary!
Next, an update on Coolio, after we’ve been asked about him several times throughout the past few months. He actually has become quite the entrepreneur.
For starters, you can purchase Coolio’s “Beat Maker” now in the App Store. I don’t know exactly what it is, but does it really matter – Coolio kicks butt!
Coolio also has his own book out, called “Cookin’ With Coolio,” complete with one of a kind and AWESOME chapters such as “How To Become A Kitchen Pimp,” “Chillin’ and Grillin’” and “Pasta Like A Rasta.” A MUST pickup, and we hope to have Coolio on the show soon.
Last, and speaking of being on the show soon, a quick update on Lisa Loeb, who will join us in late September.
She recently gave birth to her second child, is working on a new album with a January release and has her own eyewear line. Oh, and then there’s the children’s album and book she has out, all the TV shows she’s been in and the fact that she’s just awesome in general.
