Spin Doctors, Paula Abdul & More

I am happy to announce that Spin Doctors will be joining us live in the next few weeks for an extended and candid interview.

And, if you didn’t hear, they have a BRAND NEW album out, and its a two disc’er.

To be exact, the 20th anniversary re-issue of “Pocket Full of Kryptonite,” which gave us the smash hits “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.” Disc one is that exact same album. Disc two has 17 additional tracks from throughout the years, some never heard before.

Keep up with “The Doctors” at www.spindoctors.com and be listening for our interview with them later this month. We’ll ask them about the rumors of two additional albums in 2012 and 2013, too.

Meanwhile, we are LESS THAN THREE WEEKS AWAY!!! from the debut of “X Factor” here in the U.S.

The show begins Wednesday, September 21st, to be exact, at 8/7C on Fox. I think it will be the next big show to hit the American airwaves and probably, ultimately be the demise of American Idol. Although nobody remembers her as a 90’s artist anymore, Paula Abdul will join Simon Cowell as one of the judges, along with Nicole Scherzinger and L.A. Reid.

Last, we check in with information on 90’s artist The Verve. I got a question on them this week from Sarah in Hays, KS. She writes, “Is the group that sang ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ still around?”

Well Sarah, they sure are! Although I had to check on that, as you don’t hear very much about them in the States anymore.

They’re still pretty big in the UK, however, and have released their latest album called “Forth.” You can check up more on them at:

www.theverve.co.uk

Until next week, keep livin’ the 90’s dream and be good!!!
