To say I’m excited this week is a MAJOR UNDERSTATEMENT, as I just found out that Madonna is working on her twelfth studio album!
This will be Madonna’s first album since 2008’s “Hard Candy” and should be set for an early to mid 2012 release. The “Queen of Pop” is also working hard on her new clothing line, “Material Girl,” but I can luckily tell you I’m NOT excited about that. At least not on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday’s! 🙂
Meanwhile, R. Kelly is having tough times, as his $2.9 million dollar Chicago area home is facing foreclosure. Apparently its been over a year since Kelly last made payments on the mansion. Never a good situation to see somebody lose their home, regardless of how much money they may or may not have. Here’s hoping that Kelly gets back on his feet soon!
Lastly, I believe that Sheryl Crow deserves some mad props for what she’s doing to help out ravaged Joplin, Missouri, which was slammed by one of the biggest tornadoes in recent history this past spring.
Crow, who was born and raised in Missouri, is auctioning off her 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190SL Roadster at some point in August, and all proceeds will go toward helping to re-build Joplin.
Crow is hoping to get $500,000 for the car, but notes that any amount will help.
Neat to see the former school teacher give back to her home state!
