Bon Jovi, J-Lo and More

“Absence makes the heart grow fonder.”

I’m sure you’ve heard that before, right?

And probably, you tend to agree with it, whether it be a relationship or a place that you have to leave for awhile. Being away from it makes you appreciate it more.

Bon Jovi certainly thinks and hopes so, as they recently announced they will be taking a two year hiatus from music.

Apparently the bad ass rockers feel like fans need some time away to fully appreciate them. Or maybe, its just the fact that they need a couple of years to spend all that money that was earned from the recent world tour!

Either way, I will miss “The Jovi” the next two years.

Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, is a busy woman between her break from husband Marc Anthony AND her SEVENTEENTH fragrance hitting the market.

That’s right, J-Lo has SEVENTEEN different perfumes, including the recent one titled, “Love and Light.”

You can only get “Love and Light” through HSN (the 24 hour shopping television network).

Finally, an update this weekend on “lost 90’s band” Giant, best known for their 1990 hit, “I’ll See You In My Dreams.”

Dann Huff was the lead singer of the band, and most don’t realize that he’s gone onto an INSANELY SUCCESSFUL CAREER in the music industry.

Namely, Huff is known as one of the top producers in Nashville, as he’s won the Producer of the Year award in 2006 and 2009. Huff has worked with artists such as Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Lonestar, Jewel and Rascal Flatts.

He has also played as a session musician with Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, Madonna, Mariah Carey and many more.

And his daughter Ashlyne Huff is making a name for herself, too, as her debut album dropped in June, and she recently opened up on the NKOTBSB tour.

We’ll hope to speak with the elder Huff in the coming weeks about those items and so much more!

That’s it for this week – hope you’re happy and blessed!
