Back in 1998, a true “southern belle” hit the top of the pop charts all across the world, when “Crush” from Jennifer Paige was released. In the United States, the song hit #3 on the charts, but around the globe, it was #1 in four countries. Since then, Jennifer Paige has released several more albums (all of which are great, by the way) and worked with a number of other artists, including Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, on the single, “Beautiful Lie.” Paige recently SKYPED with Dave O to discuss her early childhood obsession with the Atlanta Braves, how she got into music, the back story of “Crush” and what it was like doing a photo shoot with Nick Carter that many women would kill for.
