Crystal Waters spent FORTY FIVE WEEKS on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1994 with the song “100% Pure Love.” Waters, who is also widely known for her 1991 hit “Gypsy Woman,” comes from an extremely talented musical family, as her father (Junior Waters) is a well-known jazz musician and her great aunt (Ethel Waters) was among the first African-American singers to appear in Hollywood musicals. Dave O recently spoke with Crystal to reminisce about her upbringing, the chance encounter that led to a career in music, working with Dennis Rodman and much, much more!
