Alice Deejay became famous in 1999 with the release of the song “Better Off Alone,” which to this day, gets lots of airplay around the world. The group was formed in Amsterdam and followed up “Better Off Alone” with the single “Back In My Life.” Unfortunately for fans of Alice Deejay’s infectiously catchy sounds, the group would only release one album, “Who Needs Guitars Anyway?,” before breaking up in 2002. Dave O recently caught up with Judith Pronk of Alice Deejay to discuss not only the good old days and why Alice Deejay disbanded, but also her exciting new clothing line, her days in makeup and her thoughts on a wide variety of topics.
