The Verve Pipe were formed in Lansing, Michigan and signed to a major record deal in 1995. Within two years, the boys had a major hit on their hands with “The Freshman,” which hit the Top 10 in 1997. Donny Brown of The Verve Pipe recently made a connection with Dave O via SKYPE to discuss the “good old days” of the band and the 2011 Verve Pipe, which sees the group still making music.
